(WWJ) Police have arrested a suspect in a hit-and-run that claimed a Roseville man's life.
Roseville Police say the suspect, 22, struck the victim with his car and drove away. It happened in the area of Gratiot and Victor Street at 4:30 am Saturday.
Officers arrived to find the victim, 67, dead on the scene.
The suspect, a resident of Detroit, was later taken into custody by St. Clair Shores Police. He was driving a 2007 Chevy Impala.
Roseville Police tell WWJ it is not clear what lead up to the crash.
No word if drugs or alcohol were a factor. The victim's family has been notified, according to police.
The suspect is expected to be arraigned Monday in 39th District Court. He will be charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
