(WWJ) Detroit police are searching for the driver responsible for a deadly hit-and-run on the city's west side.
At around 9:25 p.m. Thursday, police said the victim was on foot in the area of Plymouth and Rutherford, that's near I-96 and the Southfield Freeway, when he was hit by a vehicle.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was a man estimated to be around 55 to 60 years old.
The unknown suspect fled the scene.
There is no description of the suspect vehicle at this time, and no further information was immediately released.
