(WWJ) A Rochester Hills firefighter is recovering from burns suffered while battling a garage fire.
Rochester Hills fire officials say the flames broke out in a two-car, detached garage of a home on John R south of Auburn Road around 6am Sunday.
One car was on fire when crews arrived, according to the Rochester Hills Fire Department.
Fire officials tell WWJ the firefighter’s injuries are “minor,” and he is expected to make a full recovery.
No one else was hurt. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
