(WWJ) A shooting during a gathering on Detroit's northwest side has left a young man fighting for his life.
Detroit Police say the man, 27, was standing in the street with a group of people. Two men got into a "physical altercation."
It happened on Cherrylawn near Schoolcraft around 12:30 am Saturday.
The victim tried to intervene, when one of the suspects shot him. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear.
