(WWJ) The people of Metro Detroit can enjoy one of their favorite barbeque restaurants this weekend while still maintaining social distance.

Slows Bar BQ is celebrating the expected summer weather on Sunday with curbside pickup.

In a tweet; the award-winning barbeque eatery in Corktown announced: “We’ve missed you Detroit. We’re trying out a touchless curbside pickup menu Sunday, May 3rd. Bear with us, the menu is limited but delicious.”

In order to partake in the succulent feast, you must act fast. Order cut-off is Saturday, May 2nd at “high noon," according to the tweet.

The main course on the menu is pork straight from the smoker, about 5lbs worth. You will also have your choice of Slows Bar BQ sauce.

Slows says you can add up to five extra jars of sauce for six dollars.

The Reason-add on Kit also comes with:

-Brioche roles

-32 ounces of coleslaw

-Pickle strips

Mac & Cheese, Pit Smoked Baked Beans; and Sweet Potato Mash and Slaw will also be on offer.

If you wish to donate five dollars, Slows says it will go toward helping first responders.

You can place your order online from the Curbside Menu at: https://slowstogo.alohaorderonline.com/.

Be sure to select May 3rd. The restaurant owners ask that you are prompt to pick up your order between 4 and 7pm Sunday at the Slows to Go Parking Lot on Cass Avenue. You will pay online to further reduce contact.

Slows says this is a trial run. If it is successful, they hope to add more curbside pickup delivery dates in the future.
