DETROIT (WWJ) - A woman is dead after crashing along the Davison freeway in Detroit.
Police say the woman lost control of the car around 9:40 p.m. Tuesday on the westbound M-8 ramp to southbound I-75 and struck a wall. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she later died.
The crash remains under investigation, but police believe the woman may have suffered some kind of a medical emergency.
The ramp was closed for more than an hour while police were investigating the scene but has since reopened to traffic.
