WWJ's 17th Winter Survival Radiothon For THAW Raises $1.4M In Heating Assistance

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) – We did it! 

Once again our generous listeners came in hot, helping WWJ Newsradio 950 raise a whopping $1,489,145 in heating assistance for families in need in our 17th Annual Winter Survival Radiothon for THAW, The Heat and Warmth Fund.

To help provide assistance to families facing such a crisis, WWJ and THAW partner for this annual fundraising event.

THAW assists families in need by preventing utility shut-off, providing fuel or restoring services. Over 92 cents of every single dollar raised by THAW goes directly to those in need, and THAW’s utility partners match every dollar that THAW raises so that $1 becomes $2 in energy assistance.
