DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a car along westbound I-94 in Detroit Thursday night a little after 8 p.m.
Michigan State Police tweeted shortly before 9 p.m. that the freeway was closed while crews investigated near Cecil Avenue, but it has since reopened.
The pedestrian was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
Police did not immediately release any other details about the crash.
