Williams then exited the home and fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

No weapon was recovered at the scene, so police are considering Williams to be armed and dangerous.

Anyone who knows Williams or has any information pertaining to the shooting is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department's Homicide Unit at 313-596-5634. Calls can also be made anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
