DETROIT (WWJ) -- A Detroit teenager's grandmother is asking for the public's help in locating him and bringing him home.

Police issued a missing juvenile person report for Kamarion McCann, who was last seen at his grandmother's home in the 9000 block of Hubbell on the city's west side when he left for school early Friday morning.

McCann called his grandmother at 2 p.m. Friday, asking to come home from school early, but she told him to take the bus home, and he never showed up, police said.

Police describe McCann as a 14-year-old black male, about 6-feet tall, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue joggers and Nike Air Force One shoes.

He is reportedly in good physical and mental condition.

Anyone who has seen Kamarion McCann or knows of his whereabouts is asked to please call the Detroit Police Department's Second Precinct Investigative Unit at 313-596-5200.
