Police: Critical Injuries In Crash At Michigan Avenue, Outer Drive

DEARBORN (WWJ) - Dearborn police are investigating a two car crash involving a taxi that left at least one driver critically injured. 

The crash happened just before 3:30 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Outer Drive. 

Circumstances surrounding the crash weren't immediately clear, but it involved a black Chevy Camaro and a Checker Cab. Both vehicles were mangled.

At this time, police would only say that there are critical injuries. More information is expected to be released later Thursday. 

The intersection was closed for several hours while police were investigating but has since reopened to traffic.
