DETROIT (WWJ) -- Four fisherman were pulled out of the water, after a boat capsized in Detroit River.
The Detroit Fire Department said emergency crews got the call around 11 a.m. Tuesday for a boat that flipped in the river near the Gordie Howe International Bridge.
With the help of some Good Samaritans, three people were pulled out initially by first responders, officials said. A fourth was then rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard.
One person was taken to the hospital for potential hypothermia. One refused medical treatment and two others were being checked out by EMS.
Detroit Fire officials say the four men were fishing on the river when the incident happened.
It remained an active seen in the noon hour.
WWJ's Darrylin Horne reports that, while the weather may be warming up, authorities warn that the water is still very cold this time of year.
