(WWJ) Police defused a domestic situation at an apartment complex in Clinton Township .. before it escalated.
WWJ's Mike Campbell is on the scene at Rivercrest Apartments, off Metro Parkway north of Harper, where he says police have one apartment surrounded.
They're texting with a man holed in one apartment.
He allegedly has a gun, though police are not calling him a barricaded gunman.
"They have evacuated neighbors," Campbell said. They also warned schools to keep buses out of the area.
