WAUKESHA, Wis. — Many people around the Metro Detroit area probably woke up with some interesting stories to tell Tuesday morning following a night of New Year's Eve partying.
But it probably doesn't compare to a Wisconsin woman who woke up to a stranger inside her house, sound asleep next to her dog -- 150-lb. Mastiff.
CBS 58 in Waukesha, Wisc., reports the woman discovered the unkown man inside the home and called police around 5:20 a.m.
Authorities woke the man up and discovered he was heavily intoxicated after a night of partying on New Year's Eve.
Police reports say the man accidentally went inside the wrong home and fell asleep next to the dog on its bed. The home's side door was reportedly unlocked.
The man's name and age were not released, but authorities say he was returned to where he lives with his mom and no complaints were filed with police.
