TROY (WWJ) - Another round of dangerous, damaging potholes opened up along I-75 in Oakland County, leaving drivers stranded on the freeway in whiteout conditions.
Potholes were reported Wednesday morning on both northbound and southbound I-75 from I-696 to Big Beaver Road, especially on a stretch between Rochester Road and Maple Road.
Many drivers said the blowing snow and whiteout conditions made it hard to see the potholes, which left several cars with flat tires. WWJ's Charlie Langton counted at least a dozen cars with stranded drivers, including Jaclyn Phillips from Oak Park.
"Oh my God! We don't know what happened. We came down this road and the next thing we know we bumped on something. And hey, here I am with a flat," she said.

— Charlie Langton (@charlielangton) February 13, 2019Officials warn the snowy conditions will last through the morning Wednesday. Snow showers can be intense and capable of dropping visibilities to near zero at times. Snow squalls are also possible, further leading to very hazardous travel conditions for the morning commute.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon Wednesday for Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw and Wayne counties.
