DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are seeking tips in identifying a pair of men that were caught on video assaulting a school bus driver last week.
Around 3 p.m. Friday the 63-year-old victim was driving his occupied bus in the area of Asbury Park and Diversey Avenue.
The driver pulled over to stop and two adult suspects entered the bus. Video catches them assaulting the driver, striking him several times in the face and head, before exiting the bus and fleeing the scene.
The bus driver was taken by medics to an area hospital and treated for his injuries. Police did not disclose the extent of his injuries.
It is unclear how many students were on the bus at the time of the assault.
Authorities have not released a motive for the assault.
