MILAN (WWJ) - Delays were reported all morning along a section of US-23 in Milan as crews picked up after a crash that left a semi-truck in pieces.
The crash happened Wednesday morning along northbound US-23 at Carpenter Road.
It appears the driver lost control of truck, which jackknifed and then hit an overpass. It ended with the cab detached, ripped apart and turned around behind the trailer.
Reporting live from the scene, WWJ's Charlie Langton said it looked as if the semi-truck was split in half.
