PONTIAC (WWJ) - A Pontiac woman has been charged for what the Oakland County Sheriff's Office says was her role in the murder of her former boyfriend.
Kenneth "Hawk" Hawkins, 49, was already charged with murder in the case, and now police have charged Hawkins' 33-year-old daughter, Curtaindoll's ex-girlfriend, as an accessory.
Investigators believe Hawkins shot Curtaindoll after an argument at a Pontiac club, sometime around Thanksgiving, and Lakiesha Hawkins helped dispose of the body.
Lakiesha Hawkins is facing two charges: Carrying away of a human body, a 10-year felony; and accessory after the fact, a 5-year felony. She was arraigned in 50th District Court Tuesday, with bond set at $200,000 cash on the condition she wear a GPS tether if she's released.
Kenneth Hawkins remains held without bond, as both defendants await a probable cause conference set for May 14.
