SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - On this Good Friday, Christians can receive a quick prayer on the way to work.
St. David's Episcopal Church in Southfield is offering a drive-thru prayer service until 6 p.m. Friday. Robed ministers will pray and distribute crosses to all who drive up to the south entrance of the church, located on 12 Mile Road just west of Greenfield.

"They was giving away crosses and they're having prayer and I need both, so I came up before I go to dialysis," she said. "I wanted it before I go."
The Olive wood crosses that will be distributed are from Jerusalem and are free of charge.
St. David's also is holding three indoor services on Good Friday; one at noon, Good Friday for Children at 3 p.m. and another at 7 p.m.. The noon and 7 p.m. services will include Holy Eucharist.
