(WWJ) In a stunning move, Ford unveiled its first all-electric SUV ahead of the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Called the "Mustang Mach E," it can travel at least 230 miles on a single charge, with The Mach E coming in various configurations including a GT version with a ZERO to 60 time of less than four seconds.
The vehicle combines Mustang styling with the popular small SUV market.
WWJ's Jeff Gilbert was at the big reveal, where the announcer revealed the styling with three words. "Isn't she beautiful?" Bill Ford said it galvanizes the internal team to 'raise their game' and make future electric vehicles -- like the F-150 -- perfect.
The company says the first Mach E will hit the market late next year and start at around $45,000.
There are now 18 all-electric vehicles for sale in the U.S.
