ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - He was caught, but escaped. Now authorities are looking for tips to identify a young man wanted for shoplifting at a Walmart in Roseville.
According to Crime Stoppers, the suspect -- seen in a pair of security camera photos released on Monday -- was detained by loss prevention staff at the store, in the 28000 block of Gratiot Ave., after passing all points of purchase.
Once in the loss prevention room, authorities say, the suspect took an iPhone X, a Michigan Driver's license and bank card out of the loss prevention officers hands and fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black male, 18 to 25 years old and around 5'11'' to to 6'2" tall, with a thin mustache and a thin build.
A cash reward of up to $1,000 is available for the tipster whose information leads to an arrest in this case.
