DETROIT (WWJ) - Authorities have released a composite sketch of a man wanted for sexually assaulting a teen in Detroit.
According to Crime Stoppers, on or around April 26, between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m., the suspect raped at 17-year-old girl on Hillcrest St. at Frankfort, in the area of Moross and Mack Ave. on the city's east side.
After the assault, the suspect fled the scene.
He is described as a black male, around 46 years old, 5'4'' to 5'5'' tall. He had a medium to heavy build, dark brown eyes, a bald head, salt and pepper full beard, lips are the same color as his complexion, and was wearing a tan three-courter length coat, dark blue jeans and dark gray or black work boots.
Asking for tips to identify the man, Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 in the case.
Anyone with information should call the Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-800-SPEAK-UP (1-800-773-2587). Tips may also be submitted texting CSM and the tip to CRIMES (2746370). As always, tipsters may stay 100 percent anonymous, will not be asked their names, to speak to police or to testify in court.
Cash rewards are paid by Crime Stoppers upon an arrest.
