ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - Police are looking for tips to identify a wanted jewelry thief.
According to investigators, the suspect walked in to the Kay Jewelers store in Roseville's Macomb Mall, just before 6 p.m. last Friday, and asked to see a diamond ring.
After briefly looking at the ring, she fled the store with the ring in her possession.
Police said the suspect ran through the mall exiting out the east mall doors. She then got into a dark-colored newer model Ford Fusion and fled south through the parking lot toward Masonic Rd.
The suspect is described as a black female, around 25 years old, 5'8" to 6' tall and weighing approximately 170 lbs.
As the investigation continues, Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for the tip that leads to an arrest.
