LIVONIA, Mich. (WWJ) -- Officials in Livonia say many residents are experiencing low water pressure Thursday night due to a serious water main issue.
The Livonia Water and Sewer Department says the issue is coming from a main at the corner of 7 Mile and Newburgh Roads, causing residents from 7 Mile south to Schoolcraft along the Newburgh and Levan Roads corridor to experience low water pressure.
The cause of the water main issue was not made clear.
Officials say there is no Boil Water Advisory in effect, as there often is with water main problems.
There is no estimated time for repairs to be completed, but officials say they are working to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible.
