DETROIT (WWJ) -- The families of three men killed in a Detroit robbery back in 2016 are speaking out, asking for justice.

On June 6, 2016, De'Angelo Owens-Smith, Errick Durham and Jaden Dorris were all fatally shot during a robbery at a home on the city's west side. Authorities say all three men were inside a home in the 6500 block of Brace Street, near W. Warren Avenue and the Southfield Freeway, when at least one suspect entered the home around 5:30 a.m. and killed all three of them.

Crime Stoppers of Michigan is asking for the public's help in solving this cold case. They are offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for tips that lead to an arrest in this case.

And Dawan Dorris, the mother of 15-year-old Jaden Dorris, says someone knows something about the night her son and the two others were killed.

"As many gunshots as was shot off, somebody – a lot of people – heard and saw," Dorris said at a news conference Thursday. "All this 'no snitching' stuff? We’ve got innocent people being killed for no apparent reason."

"You’re putting these guns on the street for these young men to kill each other. Stop it," she said. "The violence must stop now. It must stop now. You are self-destructing each other. There’s too many other things you could be doing."

Derrick Durham, the father of 22-year-old Errick Durham, says three years later, all three families are still hurting.

"Everybody up here’s got family that’s connected to all three of these young men and we’re hurting," he said. "We’re hurting. Some of us angry. It’s mixed up with a lot of stuff, but at the end of the day, we’re hurting. I’m just asking for your help."

Anyone who has any information about the shooting is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP or at 1800speakup.org. Those who submit tips will remain 100% anonymous. Rewards are paid when an arrest is made -- Crime Stoppers does not wait for a conviction to pay the reward.
