DETROIT (WWJ) - It's going to be a blustery evening across Metro Detroit.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory, in effect from 7 p.m. Thursday to 10 a.m. Friday for all of southeast Michigan.

Forecasters say winds will increase to 30 mph with gusts of 45 mph as a strong cold front moves through the area between 7 and 9 p.m. Thursday. Winds will continue gusting around 45 mph into Friday morning, with sub-zero wind chills expected by sunrise. Peak wind gusts will occur between 7 p.m. Thursday and 1 a.m. Friday.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Downed tree limbs and power lines are also possible and may lead to isolated power outages. Unsecured light outdoor objects will be blown around.

Forecasters say we could also see rain Thursday afternoon and evening with a chance of thunderstorms. Fog will also continue to develop across the area, with visibility less than a quarter mile at times.

Here's a look at the forecast from the WWJ Weather Team:

Thursday -- Cloudy, breezy; periods of rain this afternoon, some heavy. High 50. Low 20.

Friday -- Mostly cloudy; breezy. High 25. Low 11.

Saturday -- Mostly sunny; chilly. High 24. Low 13.
