HARPER WOODS (WWJ) - Officials are investigating after one man was suspected of being hit by gunfire at a Wayne County Home Depot late Thursday morning.
The Harper Woods Police Department said officers responded to reports of shots fired around 11 a.m. at the Home Depot located at 20300 Kelly Road.
According to callers, a male victim was shot while in a vehicle in the parking lot.
By the time Harper Woods police officers arrived on scene, Detroit police had already been dispatched. A male victim was located and taken to the hospital with a possible gunshot wound.
Officials said the incident remains under investigation with neighboring law enforcement agencies. No other information was released.
