(WWJ) The severe weather that tore through much of the state on Sunday ended up spawning a whopping ten tornadoes across Southern Lower Michigan.

National Weather Service teams from White Lake and Grand Rapids surveyed damage over the past couple of days, releasing the data for these twisters as they were verified.

Ranging from E-0 to EF-1, NWS said the tornadoes hit the following locations during storms on March 30:

Milan
Grattan
Muir
Williamston
New Haven Twp.
Leslie
Cutlerville
Belding
Grant
Caledonia

In Milan, NWS said an EF-0 tornado with winds of 85 miles per hour was on the ground for two minutes, damaging homes and snapping trees.

Two more tornadoes touched down in Ingham County. These included an EF-1 near Williamston that traveled just over five miles across M-52 — packing top winds of 110 mph. The other was brief and weaker EF-O tornado in the Leslie area.

In Shiawassee County, NWS said an EF-1 tornado with winds at 90 miles per hour touched down in New Haven Twp., two miles east southeast of Henderson, and traveled .55 miles in two minutes.

A brief EF-0 tornado was confirmed in Newaygo County's Grant, moving through mostly open fields, and impacted two utility transmission towers.

The other four tornadoes, in the Grand Rapids area, were all rated EF-0 — with winds ranging from 65 to 85 miles per hour, according to the NWS.

With all of these tornadoes, there was some damage reported, especially to trees, roofs, siding and outbuildings. Thus far, there have been no serious injuries or deaths directly linked to the twisters.

However, a man was killed when a tree fell on a house when powerful straight-line winds struck in Stockbridge Township on Sunday. In Kalamazoo County, officials said tree fell on a van during the storms on Sunday, killing three children.

There's more severe weather on the way Wednesday evening, with the threat of tornadoes possible, according to AccuWeather. Stay with WWJ for updates, every 10 minutes on the 8s. >>LISTEN LIVE!!
