13-year-old Detroit girl reported missing when she left home Easter Sunday had been recovered: police

DETROIT (WWJ) -- A 13-yesr-old girl who left home on Easter Sunday has been found, according to police.

Detroit Police had said 13-year-old McKenzie Payne left her west side Detroit home without permission, in gray sedan, on Sunday, March 31. She was reported missing the following day when she didn't return.

In an update sent Wednesday evening, police said the teen had been recovered and that she's doing fine.

It's unclear where she'd been, as no further details were released.
