DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police say 14-year-old girl who'd been missing for nearly two months in the city has been found.
According to police, Lelia Maldonado left her home in the 9800 block of Belletere, near Livernois and Grand River Ave. without permission on Friday, Sept. 20. When she didn't come home, she was reported missing by her family on Sept. 24.
On Monday, police sent an updating stating that Maldonado was recovered.
Police did not say where the teen was found, and no further details about the case were released.
