(WWJ) Detroit Police are asking for help from the public as they search for a missing teenager.
Laila Patterson, 16, was last seen on Tuesday, January 26, at around 12:30 a.m., at a home in the 16500 block of Shaftsbury Ave., near Florence St. and Outer Dr. on the city's west side.
According to investigators, Patterson was visiting her grandfather; but when he woke up Wednesday morning he discovered she was gone.
Patterson was last seen wearing navy blue pajamas. No further description was provided.
Police said the missing teen is believed to be in good physical condition, but she has reportedly been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
