DETROIT (WWJ) -- A teenage girl is fighting for her life after being hit by stray gunfire on Detroit's west side.
The shooting happened just before 2 p.m. Friday in a home on Wabash Street near West Grand Boulevard and Rosa Parks Boulevard, according to investigators.
A Detroit Police spokesman told WWJ Newsradio 950 that shots were fired outside the home, with one of the bullets flying into the house and hitting a 17-year-old girl.
The teen was rushed to a local hospital, where she remains in temporary serious condition.
There have been no arrests in the case, and no suspects have been named or described.
An investigation into the shooting continues.
