ROYAL OAK TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - Two suspects were charged after authorities said they learned two teen girls were sexually assaulted in Metro Detroit.
Troopers said they initially began the investigation into the incident on May 24 in Royal Oak Township near Bethlawn Boulevard after dispatch received a call about a runaway juvenile complaint.
State police located the two girls, aged 15 and 13 years old, and spoke with the teens. Authorities said they learned through their discussion that the girls had been sexually assaulted.
The teens were able to give a detailed description of the suspects and were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
MSP said their Special Investigation Section and detectives from the Metro North Post began their investigation and were able to track down the two suspects to one of their homes where they were arrested without incident.
Andre Walker, 29, was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and is held on a $350,000 cash bond.
Julius Dukes, 39, was charged with four counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and received a $500,000 cash bond.
Both suspects are in the Oakland County Jail.
