Troy Police say 24-year-old Daniel Bright of Sterling Heights and 25-year-old Jermaine Jones of Van Buren Twp. were in the same car in the Neiman Marcus parking lot Sunday night, when Jones started firing shots at four men in another vehicle.
Police are still looking for the other group of men who fired back before fleeing in what was described as a "boxy" gray or silver SUV,
Witnessed called police to report the gunfire, and officers found casings from at least two different guns at the scene.
Four vehicles in the parking lot, including the suspects' car, were struck by bullets, but no injuries were reported.
Jones and Bright were arrested near the scene.
Jones was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Felony Firearm - Second Offense, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Reckless Use of a Firearm.
Bright was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Driving While License Suspended.
It's still not clear what led up to the shooting, police said, and investigators don't know if it was connected to an earlier argument reported inside the mall.
