DETROIT (WWJ) - One man and one woman are in serious and critical condition after the motorcycle they were riding crashed on I-94 in Detroit Saturday morning.
Michigan State Police said the crash occurred just before 2 a.m. on WB I-94 at French Road. All westbound lanes were closed as police investigated the scene.
Troopers said the crash appeared to be a single vehicle crash as only the motorcycle was involved. The two occupants, a 32-year-old female passenger and a 40-year-old man driver, were both taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Police said the woman was listed in serious condition and the man is in critical condition.
Authorities said neither of them were wearing helmets.
