Cpl. Daniel Bartok, a Public Information Officer with the Dearborn Police Department, confirmed to WWJ's Luke Sloan that Dearborn Heights Police officers were involved in an active chase when the suspect vehicle crashed at the intersection of Michigan Ave. and Greenfield in Dearborn.

The suspect struck one vehicle and the force of the crash caused that vehicle to hit another. Two people in those vehicle were injured and taken to local hospitals for treatment.
