
REDFORD TWP. (WWJ) — Redford Township police detectives are following up on leads to find out what exactly happened at a Little Caesars Pizza shop Sunday afternoon when shots rang out.
The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. at the Little Caesars restaurant on 7 Mile near Inkster, according to Redford Twp. police.
Officials say several shots were fired from both inside and outside the restaurant from multiple guns. At least two people were hit by the gunfire, as they were later found at a local hospital.
One person remains hospitalized in serious but stable condition, but officials have not released information about either victim.
Authorities believe it was a targeted attack and those who were injured were the intended victims. Officials did not release any information about a possible motive or why the victims were targeted.
No arrests have been made and officials have not released any information about the suspects.
