22-year-old Southfield woman charged with first degree murder for allegedly stabbing man to death

Erin Danielle Riley, 22, the suspect in the homicide that took place on March 15, 2021 at the Lancaster Hills Apartment Complex, was arraigned on March 17, 2021.

Riley was arraigned at the 46th District Court on one count of Open Murder against 27-year-old Jerome Samuel Williams, for allegedly stabbing him to death.


Bond was denied for Riley and her next court date is set for April 1st, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in front of Judge Nance at the 46th District Court.

Circumstances leading up to the killing are still unknown, but police say at about 3:30 a.m. on Monday, March 15, Ray called police and told them that she was in a altercation with her boyfriend and that she stabbed him. Authorities arrived and transported Williams to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
