Detroit Police searching for three 'armed and dangerous' suspects in case of man mugged, shot on the west side
DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police say they're still looking for three men wanted in a shooting and robbery, warning: "They are to be considered armed and dangerous."
At around 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, police said the victim was approached by the trio in the 18900 block of W. Seven Mile Rd., west of M-39.
While the suspects robbed the 26-year-old man of his personal property. police said, one of them fired a single shot, wounding the victim.
The suspects fled the scene in a dark colored 2023 or 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee with dark rims, and the victim was treated a local hospital for his injuries, police said

Suspect number one is described as a male around 25 years old, 5'11" tall and 190 lbs., armed with a handgun. He was last seen wearing a black knitted skullcap, a black 'Moose Knuckles' coat, gray or brown hooded sweatshirt, gray or brown sweatpants and black boots.
Suspect two, the driver, is described as a male 21 to 24 years old, around 5'9" tall and 170 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black 'North Face' jacket, black hooded sweatshirt with white design and lettering on it, gray jeans and black boots.
Suspect three is described as a male 21 to 23 years old, around 5'9" tall and 140 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, a black shirt with a white design and lettering on it, gray or green jogging pants and black boots.
On Feb. 1, police said they still need help to solve this case.
