CLINTON TWP. (WWJ) -- Police in Clinton Township are searching for suspects in an Easter Sunday shooting at an apartment complex.

Police said the gunfire — which broke out at around 9 a.m. Sunday, at the Clemens Court Apartments, near Joy Blvd. and Gratiot — involved a person who was allegedly selling marijuana to minors.

Police arrived and dispersed a crowd that had gathered at the scene, and the three teenage victims were taken to a local hospital.

The suspects were described as three males, between 16 and 20 years old, all wearing hoodies. Witnesses told police they ran away on food, headed east from the complex.

According to the Macomb Daily, the three teens who were shot all suffered minor injuries, including a shot to the leg, one was hit in the ear, and the other in the hand. They are all expected to recover.

Anyone with information on the shooting, or the suspects, is asked to contact Clinton Township Police at 586-493-7802.
