CENTER LINE (WWJ) -- A Center Line man has been arrested in the fatal shooting of his wife.
Police were called to the scene at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, at a home on Sterling Street, off M-53, south of 10 Mile Rd.
When officers arrived, they found a 38-year-old woman with a single gunshot wound.
First responders tried to perform life-saving measures, but she died at the scene, police said.
The woman's husband was taken into custody.
No names have been released, and no further information was given about the circumstances around the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
