(WWJ) Four people are hospitalized in West Michigan after a rollover crash involving an ambulance.
According to Michigan State Police, a 2018 Ford Explorer crossed the center line on a road in Oakfield Township, northeast of Grand Rapids, Monday night and hit an ambulance which was tra=anspoting a patient to the hospital.
The ambulance flipped over in the crash.
The patient, ambulance driver and other EMS worker along with the car driver were all taken to a hospital for treatment of minor inures.
The woman who was driving the Explorer was pinned inside of the vehicle and had to be extricated, police said. She was taken by EMS to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
State Police investigators say drugs, alcohol and speed are all believed to have played a part in the crash.
No names have been release and no charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
