(WWJ) -- Michiganders won’t need to go far to experience some winter “magic” this season!

The travel website TripsToDiscover.com features four Michigan cities on a list of the most "50 Most Magical Winter Wonderland Towns in the U.S."

The first town mentioned from the Mitten is Munising, thanks in part to its long winters and the plethora of activities it offers for those looking to have some fun in the cold and snow.

Visitors can check out Munising’s ice caves in the Rock River Canyon Wilderness, learn to scale ice walls at the the annual Michigan Ice Fest in February, snowmobile expansive trails that stretch for miles, visit frozen waterfalls and more.

Next up was "Christmas Town" itself — Frankenmuth! Over 3 million people pour into “Michigan's Little Bavaria” every year, but the German-inspired city really excels in the winter months.

Along with year-round attractions like Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland, visitors of Frankenmuth can enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, ice skating, a European-style pop up holiday marketplace and a “spectacular” musical Christmas tree. Delicious food, locally-made beer, and a “Christmas Lane” boasting 50,000 lights round out the winter experience.

Another European-rooted Michigan city that made the list was Holland. While there’s always things to do in the beautiful Lake Michigan town, it truly shines in the wintertime thanks to the beautiful frozen shoreline views at Holland State Park.

Heated sidewalks also allow visitors to enjoy the snow without the risk of slipping in the walkable downtown, which boasts a variety of great shops and restaurants.

And we’ll head way ‘Up North’ for the final Michigan location that made the cut on TripsToDiscover.com’s list of America’s “Most Magical Winter Wonderland Towns.”

Marquette in the Upper Peninsula is a year-round destination that draws in travelers from Michigan and across the world, but the snow transforms the city into a truly stunning sight.

With an average of about 200 inches of snowfall per year, Marquette takes advantage of its white stuff surplus by offering almost 75 miles of cross-country ski trails, 400 miles of snowmobile trails, and even winter surfing!

A holiday laser show on the city’s Lower Harbor Ore Dock also takes place every year, as well as a New Year’s Eve ball drop in Downtown Marquette, where visitors can find live music, great food and plenty of shopping.

So here's hoping you brave the cold for some magical memories this winter in Michigan. Who knows -- it might just become your favorite season!
