1. Cider in the City at Beacon Park Detroit
Cider in the City is back at Beacon Park Detroit! Enjoy free, seasonal activities for the whole family, including pumpkin picking and painting, make-and-take crafts, mocktails, craft cocktails and seasonal beer selections, horse-drawn hayrides around the park, lawn games, live music and more. Make sure to grab a bite from one of the great local food truck options, pick up some delicious cider and donuts from Blake Farms or enjoy fresh dishes from Lumen Detroit.

2. Detroit Free Press Marathon
Runners from all over the world will lace up this weekend for the Detroit Free Press Marathon! The weekend hosts several events, including the health & fitness expo and a variety of races for all levels and abilities. Whether you're taking on the marathon, cheering for your favorite runner, or just looking to check out the action, the event activities kick off on Friday, Oct. 13 and continue though Sunday, Oct. 15 in Downtown Detroit.

3. Royal Oak's Hallowcrawl 2023
Grab your friends and spread the Halloween spirit while hitting up some of Royal Oak's best bars at Hallowcrawl 2023! On Saturday, Oct. 14, join over 2,000 Halloween enthusiasts in costume and enjoy festively-themed drinks and plenty of spooky swag. Participating locations include Cantaritos Mexican Bar & Grill, Pinky's, North End Taproom, Motor City Gas, Rock On Third, Jolly Pumpkin, Commune Bar, HopCat, Buffalo Wild Wings, Bar Louie, The Morrie, 526 Main, Tequila Blue, O'Tooles, Fifth Ave, Pronto, Royal Oak Taphouse and Ye Olde Saloon!

5. Spooky Spirits at the Detroit Zoo
