
(WWJ) Fall has arrived, and with it many exciting and seasonal events across our area! Here are some of our top picks for what to do this week in Metro Detroit, brought to you by WWJ's Don't Miss List with Pat Vitale.
1. Skeletons Are Alive!

Downtown Northville
They're back, and boney as ever! Between Oct. 1 and 31, more than 200 skeletons will take over Downtown Northville storefronts, sidewalks and gathering spaces for a bone-chilling monthlong celebration. There's a big launch part on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 5 to 9 p.m.
2. Detroit Bourbon & Blues
Friday, Oct. 3, 5-10PM
Eastern Market Shed 5, Detroit
This immersive tasting experience invites guests age 21+ to sample a variety of bourbons and whiskeys curated by a bourbon-loving staff. Doors will open at 7 p.m. for general admission and 5 p.m. for VIP Guests. Sip American-made whiskey, enjoy live music performances, and more. Get tickets.
3. Nightmare on Auburn
Saturday, Oct. 4, noon-8PM
Downtown Utica
Don your spooky duds and bring the family for a free, annual fall festival and Halloween celebration. The event features trick-or-treating, vendors, a family fun zone, vendors, craft beer tent, live music, and costume contests for both people and pets! Auburn Road will be closed to traffic, transforming it into a pedestrian-only area for the festivities.
4. Farmington Hills Citywide Open House
Saturday, Oct. 4, noon-3PM
Farmington Hills City Hall campus on W. 11 Mile Rd.
The City of Farmington Hills takes community members behind the scenes! Visit City Hall, the Police and Fire Department, and Department of Public Works (DPW) trucks will be there for kids to check out. The event is FREE, including activities for the whole family, hands-on demonstrations, hot dogs and Kona Ice (while supplies last).
5. MARVAC Fall Detroit RV and Camping Show
Thursday-Sunday
Suburban Collection Showplace
Tour hundreds of RVs, including folding campers, motorhomes, travel trailers, toy haulers, and fifth-wheel travel trailers, ranging in price from $12,000 to more than $500,000. Get tickets.

Jimmy Johns Field, Utica
This 9th annual event will include beer and hard cider tasting, live music from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm, football on the tvs in The Cure Auto Insurance Clubhouse, fall food specials and concession stands throughout the ballpark, apple cider, and donuts.
