1. Bunnyville at the Detroit Zoo

Hop over to Bunnyville at the Detroit Zoo this weekend for two days of “egg-citing” fun for the whole family! Admission is included with a ticket purchase to the Zoo, and free for Zoo members to attend. The fan-favorite golden egg hunt, which features 100 hidden eggs across the Zoo’s 125 acres, is also back at Bunnyville – along with habitat chats and educational activities, live entertainment, photos with the Easter Bunny and much more.

2. Wayne County Parks Marshmallow Drops

Thousands of marshmallows will be airdropped from above at the Wayne County Parks Marshmallow Drops! Be there when the helicopter swoops in with a super sweet delivery, after which kids can run to collect the marshmallows and turn them in for a prize. These are free community events and no registration is required. Drops will take place on Friday, March 29 at Elizabeth Park in Trenton at 9 a.m. and Nankin Mills in Westland at 11 a.m.

3. Adult Easter Egg Hunt at Blake Farms

Why let the kids have ALL the fun this Easter? Head to Blake Farms this weekend for a one-of-a-kind Adult Easter Egg Hunt experience where participants will search for Easter Eggs carefully hidden within Funland. Redeem six of your eggs for your favorite Hard Cider to create your own 6-pack to take home. This rebel twist to traditional egg hunts will sure to leave you buzzing with excitement and thirsty for more. Enjoy live music, exclusive deals and limited menu offerings to round out the perfect evening with friends.

4. Canterbury Eggstravaganza

What could be more exciting than an Easter egg hunt? How about a helicopter raining eggs from the sky? Head out to Canterbury Village in Lake Orion for an afternoon of fun and adventure at the Canterbury Eggstravaganza! The shops will have kids’ Easter activities including crafts, lawn games, a bounce house, petting zoo, selfies with the Easter bunny and more! When the moment arrives, the eggs will be dropped and attendees can dash to the field to harvest them. Make sure to BYOB (Bring your own basket) so that you can collect the eggs and hand them in at the village’s shops for great prizes.

5. Above and Beyond at Michigan Science Center

Above and Beyond what you’ve ever imagined! The Michigan Science Center is proud to present its newest exhibit, featuring an out-of-this-world adventure sure to exceed your expectations!
