BEDFORD TOWNSHIP, MICH (WWJ) A woman in her seventies was killed in a mobile home fire near the Michigan-Ohio border.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office were called to Northtowne Meadows Mobile Home Park on Telegraph near Alexis Rd. for a structure fire around 6:15 Sunday morning (February 18), according to a press release.
First responders entered the burning home and found a 76-year-old woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
She was identified as Constance Marie Hites.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Bedford Township Fire Department and Monroe Community Ambulance all responded to the scene.
The Monroe County Fire Investigation Team is investigating the cause. No further information has been released.
