DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department is asking for tips in the case of a man who walked away from his home back in March, and hasn't been heard from since.
Samuel Jennings, 80, was last seen shortly after 9 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2022, when he left his home in the 6000 block of Hillcrest, near Moross and east of I-94 on Detroit's east side.
Police said Jennings left his residence on foot, walking with a silver cane, and did not return home. He was last seen wearing a black hat and a black winter jacket.
Now more than two months after his disappearance, police are again reaching out to the public for help to find him and bring him safely home.
According to his sister, Jennings lives with mental illness.
