
(WWJ) Police in Adrian, Michigan are searching for a missing man who may be in danger.
William Shayne Phillips, who is around 28 years old, was last seen by his wife in the early morning hours of Oct. 16, at Carleton Lodge in Adrian before she said he left on foot towards W US 223 Hwy.
Since that time, police say possible sightings of Phillips hitchhiking have been reported around M50 and Pentecost Highway.
Phillips is described as a white male, around 5'11'' tall and 160 lbs., with hazel eyes, brown hair and a goatee.
He has several tattoos, including a skull and cross bones under his right eye and a a swastika on the left side of his neck. Both arms are tattooed with angels and demons as well as “Will” on his left forearm and “Phillips” on his right forearm.
Police said Philips is known by the nickname “Toxic” but may also go by James or Jarred.
He was last seen wearing a black POLO hoodie, blue jeans, a baseball hat and black and brown boots.
Police said Phillips "is believed to be in danger," but they did not elaborate. Other circumstances surrounding his disappearance are unclear at this time.
