(WWJ) The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is asking for tips in a case involving an aggressive, bearded suspect and a stolen cell phone.
The incident happened Saturday, March 16, at a self-service car wash in Macomb County, according to investigators.
Officials said the victim was using the car wash when a man with a long beard allegedly parked him in, "became aggressive" and took his cell phone from his vehicle.
The suspect’s vehicle — seen in a surveillance photo released by the MCSO on Monday — was a white utility style truck with cabinets and drawers at the back.
The LG brand phone was pinged near Greektown in Detroit, but has not been recovered, officials said.
The sheriff's office did not release any further details, including about the location of the car wash.
Anyone who recognizes the truck, or who may be able to identity the suspect, is asked to call Detective Jankowski at 586-307-9363, or send an email to Justin.jankowski@macombcountymi.gov.
